Rez One Team

It’s July which means it’s officially patio season! There’s nothing like kicking back with friends and soaking up some rays, all while enjoying delicious food and drinks. But where to go? Well, as always, Rez One’s got you covered. We’ve rounded up the best and closest patios in the area for you, your friends and roommates to check out all summer long!

Morty’s Pub 272 King St N (2 min. walking distance from Preston House)

Probably our favourite and not just because of its proximity! Wings are said to be some of the best and most popular in town. Visit Mondays and Thursdays on Wing Nite for a super deal.

Shoeless Joe’s 53 King St N (5 min. walking distance from Bridgeport House)

Right on the corner of King and University, we absolutely love this sports grill’s rooftop patio. If you’re looking for a fun-filled, lively evening out, this rooftop is the place to be.

Ethel’s Lounge 114 King St N (15 min. walking distance from Preston House)

The homiest of all bars! Nothing beats Taco Tuesday’s at this local favourite. Beginning at four p.m., you’ll get four mouth-watering beef tacos for only a toonie. (Say what?!)

Barley Works 59 King St N (18 min. walking distance from Bridgeport House)

Under a 20 minute walk away and absolutely worth the trip! Located on the corner of King and Princess, this restaurant bar features a great balcony patio and it’s an excellent place to try one of their fine-crafted brews on a hot summer day.

Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar 83 Erb St W (20 min. walking distance from Blair House)

In the mood for Mediterranean? Solé features summertime outside dining and not only is the food fantastic, but getting here also gives you the perfect excuse to walk outside for a lovely stroll through the jewel of the city–Waterloo Park!

So there you have it. What other cool patios are you dying to visit this summer? Let us know in the comment section below!
